Hi! I’m Mairead, the person behind PrettyPlants. I’m currently a student working to learn everything I can about horticulture and business.
I started PrettyPlants to share the a benefits and joy of plants with my customers while waitressing at a few at local diners.There I saw firsthand how a green, welcoming storefront changes the whole vibe for customers.
I’ve spent the last few years doing hands-on field work: gardening and designing, conservation and wildlife internships, and maintaining interior plantscapes.
Right now, I keep PrettyPlants small and independent. When I am not in the field, most of my time is spent caring for a curated selection of indoor plants and designing for clients
